Match Roster
When View/Create Match Roster is selected, a list of future match dates will be presented. The governor selects the date that he wants and is presented with a modified match sheet for that date. The match sheet will show the match date, the venue and the two teams that are competing. Only the logged in governor’s team will be visible and only his side of the sheet will be accessible for updating.
After the governor has COMPLETELY filled in his side of the roster form, he clicks the submit button and the roster checks are performed. If any errors are found, an error message is displayed and the data are not posted. The roster is checked for conformance to the League rules.
The player in the number 1 position MUST be the lowest index player of the 8 competing players. The lower index players of pairs 2, 3 and 4 must go up in order. Based on the 8 players selected to compete, IF POSSIBLE, there must not be more than 5 index points between the two competing partners.
The completed roster MUST include the designation of a captain.
If ALL requirements are met, the submitted roster is accepted and posted in the database.
The Pro at the host venue will have access to the completed match sheet for each match at his venue. The match sheet will be displayed ONLY if BOTH sides of the match have submitted a completed roster. Until that time, the pro is told which team’s data are missing.
